Its october..
Had been slacking abit for the past 3 weeks :)
Shld be working on my FYP but then..... :P Gotta buck up soon.

Haizzz... still awaiting for the last sem exam result. By right should have been released, but till now still blank. Waiting and waiting....

Went back to school today to meet-up with group members and project supervisor for the FYP discussion. Nearly get 'tuang' by the project supervisor who had forgotten about it and is still at home !-_- A short 1hr session in the evening.

Headed down to town after the project discussion..
Went to Cuppage Centre to recontract my mobile line and get a new phone for dad. Get in done very quickly, cos not much people there, finished everything in about 15mins :D

Loiter around and decided to head to the far end to grab some dinner :D
Headed to Terminal 3 and had Popeyes chicken & biscuits. My second visit to there ;) The chicken are just tender and crispy. Loving it.... But the place is kinda of crowded.

Back here to update once more after a long long time....
Past 1 month had been busy with studies.... rushing assignments one after another. A truly tough and stress month it had been....

Just completed the exam for this semester yesterday.
It another 50/50 chance to gamble with again. Result will be out in Oct.. Well till then :D
Current status now is working on FYP... my last semester for the course (hopefully :X)

Really running short of time :(
Almost every week is a deadline. Just cleared assignment 1a on saturday. Current working on assignment 1b due on thursday, follow to be task 1a due on friday. Going crazy by the tie-crasy management......

Looks like i am going to MIA from here once again till septmeber, when i am done with those deadlines.........

Life S**k when work, studies and ASSIGNMENTS comes together.......
Going zzzzZZ soon... max out already.

Had a short movie marathon today.
Watched "21" @ Eng Wah Suntec and "Hancock" @ GV Yishun.
Not bad... had been some time since last hit to the cinemas.
Tired out....
Had been a full today... time to catch my sleep for the day.

For Sunday, shall be going to catch all the sleeping hours i had miss for the week :D

A shiok and fulfilling week it had been...
After a 5 days course and 5 five days of lectures, its truly an brain-enriching week :D
Still got a final day of the course tomorrow....

Back here once again.. declaring another round of brand new start...
Over the weekend, spent my time completing my game MGS4. :D
Declaring it an achievement :P Neh, just try to finish it up as, i forsee i wouldn't have great time to slowly enjoy playing it soon for the next 2months.

This week is real busy and packed. When things all come at once =_=!
After this entire week till Saturday will be on course. Shiok shiok.. love to go for courses :D
Location is at Furama RiverFront Hotel... An interesting hands-on course, best part all my lunch for the week will be the hotel lunch buffet :D

And starting from today is also the beginning of my 3rd semester of my acacdemic course.
My last 2 modules before a final year project in next semester.
Check my last semester results andall i can say.... Thankfully I cleared it !!!!! Its had been a close shave, for i just manage to clear it by a small margin =_=!!!! Sweat sweat sweat.... Seriously i believe there's some moderation made in the overall results... Anyway for that all is over. Time to focus on my this semester...

My time schedule for this week:
9am - 5pm: On Course.
7pm - 10pm: Lectures.

My brain is going to be overflow with information this week........

Burnt a big big hole in my pocket today......

Spent almost the entire day at the PC Show :D
As planned for the year, I've gotten myself a notebook.

Had been thinking of which notebook to buy for the past 2 days.....

Too many options out there. Had to find one with the best value for $$$$.
In the end, narrowed down to Acer, Apple, Dell and Sony notebooks.
Spent the day walking around booths and thinking hard & compare.

In the end, go for Sony.

Had dropped Apple Macbook from the list because after some checking and thinking, feels that its not really that value for $$$$.
For Acer, while the pricing is the cheapest of the 3, the overall package wise is still not that value for $$$$.

For Dell, pricing still acceptable given the configuration, but then to go for extended warranty is not that attractive :(
Thus go for the Sony Vaio. Costing $1999.

The design looks good. The configuration is still value for $$$$.

The keyboard design look similar to the Macbook :D
And discover that it come bundled with software like Adobe Photoshop Elements :D Extended my warranty to 3 years @ $150.

I am back here once again....
Since the last entry till now, most of the time had been to prepare for the exam that ended last wednesday.... =_= Shall throw any academic stuffs one side and enjoy the 1 mth break i am going to have :)

This week had been a 2 days work week for me :D
Mon - Wed away on exam leave, thursday and friday work and now weekends.... :)
This week is the PC Show.... another round of pocket burning....
Went down to do a recce on thursday. My plan this time round is to get a notebook. But tough to make a decision on what to buy..... Hopefully will come to a decision by tomorrow :)

Anyway yesterday, gone and bought a new game for my PS3.

Today's my Driving test.... its a long long journey to reach this outcome :D
The journey started nearly 2 years back.....

13 Jun 2006: Took my Final Theory Test - Passed
23 Jul 2007: Enrolled for my driving lesson @ SSDC
18 Oct 2007: Began my first driving lesson
19 Apr 2008: Took my 2nd Final Theory Test (To standy)- Passed
03 May 2008: Cleared my lesson and began revision
29 May 2008: Took my Class3 Driving Test - Passed


For today' test kinda worried though....
Had the warm-up driving to refresh myself before the test. The warm-up driving was still ok, but still some mistakes made which refresh my alertness not to do it during the test =D

After the warm-up driving comes the actual test....
My first test station was the vertical parking... and seriously thats one station which i am not really confident with. And 'suay' enough its hiccup at the first station :( Didn't really do the revsering nicely and ended up striking the kerb (4pts gained) and because of that required additional reverse attempt (2pts gained). And the result of getting 6pts in the first is somehow demoralizing. Haizz... it shouldn't not have happen in the first place.... But after which everything was still smoothing going though another 2+2 pts was obtained...

Throughout the test i have no full idea of how badly i had done... till reach back the centre and given a debrief. When all the mistakes i've done was shown to me. First though in my mind was I am coming back again. Only when the tester passed me the result slip and told me to go to the counter to make payment that when i know i had passed =D Happy happy happy.......

Pass with a score of 10pts. Haizzz.... by right would had just being 4pts only :X
But nvm i am happy with the result of passing.... Yeah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day -1 (17 May 2008):
Hours before the departure's flight, i'm still at home rushing completing my assignments. Seriously i was rushing against time, time was seriously what i am lacking off at the moment. Had been rushing form days and night trying to complete it before my holiday :D

Day 1 (18 May 2008):
0030hrs - I submitted my assignment online. Immediately off i go and preparing to pack my stuffs for the trip.

01xxhrs - Meet up with Jisheng and Weichoon; shared a cab down to the airport. Apparently they had missed the last bus-service and thus gotta join me for the cabby way :D

02xxhrs - Reached the BT(Budget terminal). Peaceful and quiet morning... Slacked around at HANS, having drinks and snacks while awaiting for Weijie and Shumin to arrive and also for the check-in counter to open. Guess we came slightly too early... and played a few hours of waiting game.....

05xxhrs - The check in counter finally opens. Began our check-in and getting the boarding pass. Cleared the immigration and checks. Arrived at the departure area and its yet another round of waiting. Took some precious napping during the waiting....


0600hrs - Boarding began !!! Made our way to the boarding gate. Flight TR102 from Singapore to Bangkok. Depart at 0630... Since its budget flight, no foodies nor entertainment, i'm off for another2hrs nap...

07xxhrs (Thai time) - Touched down at Bangkok. 1st destination is to make our way to our Hotel.... We hired a minibus that get us to our destination instead of the usual taxi there. Ended up it proves to be an unwise decision. But never mind, lesson learn , experience gained ;)

About 30mins of journey, we reached the foot of our hotel.... the tallest hotel in Thailand. We do a check-in at level 18, where the hotel lobby is. Gotten 1 of the 2 rooms that we booked and made our way high up to level 54. No $$$ to stay in local Swissôtel The Stamford thus find alternatives overseas - Baiyoke Sky :D

Took a short rest in the room enjoying the scenic view. After some good rest and a change to some light attire, we were off for our first meal in Bangkok(BKK). Headed to one of the mall foodcourt nearby. The foodcourts there are organized and clean. Even tissue box were offered on every tables.. Why don't ours have the same ??? Food there is cheap as well, mostly range from 20 - 60 bahts, but then seems like the portion is small though :)

The card used to make foodie purchase at the foodcourt, cashless mode. Good but abit inconvenient though. Ended with the above 40baht souvenir :)


1st attraction visited: Chatuchak Weekend Market
Crowded as it may be... it reminds me of our old old Tiong Bahru market though :D With the zinc roof, tight narrow stuffy walkways :D Well the size of Chatuchak is hugh but then it seems that after walking for some time the stuffs each stalls is selling is becoming repeative. Oh yah... and time seems to have pass very slowly down there..

2nd attraction: Yaowarat aka Chinatown
Our luxury part of the journey began in Chinatown... :D
Headed to one of the shop and had a luxury tea-break session consist of Sharkfins & birdnest =^-^= Yummy yummy... The entire street is lined with such shops offering both stuffs. Its like living like a king down there... :) After the "boosting" tea-break, headed to walk through the rest of Chinatown. Ended the Chinatown trip with a Tut Tut ride back to hotel........

Just returned my trip from Bangkok from 18 - 20 May 2008.
Well flight delayed abit thus can say i officially touched down back in Singapore on 21 May :D
Had BurgerKing at T2, after landed, eat eat abit before cabbing back home. Unloaded my stuffs and here i am infront of my PC once again :D

For my quickie 3 days holiday thou' kinda short, but the experience is there =)
Shall do an update of the 3 days journey once i have the time.

In the mean time, time is running tight =)
Shall go and catch a 3-4 hours of precious nap before getting back to work again ;)

Just completed my assignment to be due today :D

Going to start on another one after this :( And its just plain horrible !!!!! Unrealistic deadline !!!!! 5 days to complete it which is mission impossible :X Likely to be gone case for that unless a miracle....

Seriously its something one who will likes it, if one understands it; else hates it.
Guess right now I am for the latter :)
After slogging for the 2 days finally completed the assignment.... =_=!

Sadly the end of one, is the start of another one :X
My upcoming dateline/deadline for another 2 new assignment will be on the 12th & 17th.
Sometime it seems that working life is less stressing than student life. And when the two mixed together..... :D

weather is bad for these few nights.
Its warm... Global Warming :) Heard that for the upcoming months will be just as bad....
Expect more warmly days ahead.

Had been busy busy busy..... For the past 3 weeks had been a long full day everyday for the weekdays. Work in the morning and lesson in the night. The only breather i can get is only the weekends.... Really tired and maxed out.

This semester of study is quite bad. Kenna one module which is of chimchim maths. Consider having staying away for maths for a long long time and now having to revisit it again =( Worst still this module had been rather infamous for its killer results =_=!!! Sweat sweat now. And seriously me really catch no ball for the module. Haizzzz...... really need good luck on this module liao......

My Saturday today is also a bit busy...
Morning went for my driving lesson. Clearing most of it already. The next big thing for it is the test at the end of next month.
After which headed to bank to collect part of my study loan for this semester school fee.

Going to pay up the fees on Monday.

The rest of the day is spent at home. Taking some good rest and also work on my assignment. Java programming :X Don't really like programming but then bo bian. Deadline is on Monday, should be able to finish it on time :D

Last day of March 2008.
Nearly had a "Heart Attack" a while back .....

Today marks the start of my 2nd semester of my course. Next 7 days will be intensive lectures for my 1st modules. Nice to see familiar faces once again after stepping into the lecture theater. The 1st news that got to my ear was that, the exam results had published. Its a piece of shivering news. The next news that come after was that one of the module had a 40+% failure rate =_= Some more its was the module which i am better confident of. The next thought that rush through my mind was.... : "If this module which i am confident of had such a high failure rate; and the other module which i think its a failure = This semester will be a goner for me"

Reached back home, thinking if i should check my result immediately.... Pondering...... If the result is negative, it will surely spoil my entire week and my entire studies programme.

Eventually... decided to check my result a just now ...... :D
Phew.... managed to clear both of the modules. And actually i had done better for the module which i think is a goner =) Well.... @least its not going to be a sleepless nite ;)

End of yet another working week. Smooth sailing still :D
By right would had been on course this entire week.... but then the course get postpone till the end of June. Alrtie wait till june then :) Me just love to go for course :D Especially when its not from my pockets, some more still can learn good stuffs =)


Happenings for my week:

1) Finally the construction of the life outside my door step is ready and function now. Just gotta wait for few more weeks before the entire construction is over before I can enjoy the dust-free environment. So the question now is.... how often will i use the lift instead of climbing up the stairs :D Frankly speaking.... it is faster for me climb up the stairs (3 storeys. My speed & stamina should still be able to make it :D )

2) Sad stuff... This is my last week of my term break :( Soon will be back to studies routine again +_+! Well going to experience the 1st 2 weeks of daily intensive lectures once again. Actually the worst part should be... awaiting the release of exam results for my last semester... its still not out yet :X Haizzz... the want-to, not-want-to know feeling is bad bad bad... Looks like i really to buck up for this semester, just have to treat my last sem. as a warm-up session bah ;)

3) Something nice to look forward to.... 18 - 20 May. Finally the short getaway to Bangkok had been confirmed yesterday. Flights and hotel stay booked. Itinerary for the trip, just gotta make some planning later... Still gotta ample time ;) Work, studies and getaway... hope it will not be an over-estimate of my time management capabilities =P

4) More $$$ had came in today. The Growth Bonus... It came in at a good time to keep me 'growing' :D So long go $$$ happi liao... Just need to be contented with myself =)

Had a long day yesterday... after work headed back home. Then out again for a "Happy Hour" session with buddies at Orchard Hotel. Then a toilet break at Meritus Mandarin. After which headed to Swensens at Park Hotel for some light snacking :D A long long nite till morning. Thankfully today is a holiday thus can sleep till the sun rise high up ;)

Ah... suffered bad sore throat for 2 days.....
Now its like the season for flu and cough. Bad bad.... Office environment getting contaminated.
Hope i will be spare from it, but hard... now started coughing already .... :(

A Sony DVD camcorder.





Its my first purchase done through a guy in one of the online forum.
Cash and carry a brand new set costing me $550. Actual price at outside store is over $1000.
Personally feel that its a good purchase. Good price for a basic set for newbie like me :D

For this month hmmm......
Received quotation for laptop purchase. Now thinking should i commit to it or to hold on... Let me think and plan my ,moves ;)

Ia m back here again after the "long weekend" and 2 days of work.
Taking about my "long weekend".... its demoralizing.... My first time taking an exam again after such a long period away from such stuffs since my student days... Really don't have good feeling about my exams :( Will be about 2 weeks later before i know my results =_= Only can hope for the best liao. In the mean time just enjoy while i can +_+

My last 2 days of work... haizzz.... guess must also have been due to the "long weekend" problem. Always sleep too much into the morning and overslept for the past days -_- !! Even my alarm clock also fails to get me up on time :X

Ok gotta sleep early today... hopefully on time wake up tmr :D

But neh.... Today is for study-last min revision. Tmr will be my 1st paper @ 14.15hr and the next one on the coming monday........ Somehow feel kinda wierd studying for exam... Also dunno what i am studying liao.... :X Thus taking a break, coming here to do some posting. Just hope paper tmr will be "friendly" :).

Today is also the start of the IT Show 2008 :D
Tempted to go down today.... but but..... Maybe will go down look look after the exam :)
Actually had a few things up on hand wanted to buy. But then budget constraints... currently living on the edge of my budget already :$$$$$$ Last month bought 1 "heavy" item already.

On my list also have other items queuing up :) My current waiting items are:
1) Laptop/Notebook
2) LCD Tv
3) PlayStation3

Well in fact, item #1 (Laptop) is something which i have been pondering for quite some time already. Kept thinking "to buy" or "not to buy". Seriously if can, i would choose "not to buy" and instead to buy my item #2 and #3. But... there are some factors thats pulling me into "to buy" as somehow theres a need for it. And the purchase should be made very soon ;) "Heart-pain"

Ok... enough of all the "but"...
Going back to continue with my revision ;)

Airshow 2008

29 Feb. Once every 4 years.
Shouldn't today be made a public holiday, esle it ended as an extra day of work. Haizz.....
Attended a relative wedding dinner today. Well i would say it as interesting, as it means a weeding anniversary once every 4 years :D

This week marks the end of my studies period...
Next week, EXAM WEEK !!!!!!!!
Siao liao..... Ask me how prepared am i, my answer will likely be 5% ready for the exam. Seriously come to think about it now regarding the course I am taking, it somehow shouldn't be in part-time format. Too less a time for each module., too less stuff properly thought :X
6 lectures and 6 tutorials and off i am for exam =_=!

Anyway had taken study and exam leave next week for the finale of my 1st sem.
Wish me luck.....

Went for the 1st Singapore Airshow today :D
Except for the crowd, everything is good. Airshow display is nice.
The static display is cool.... Better than the last one in 2006. This time round can get real close to the planes, able to physically touch it. One of the best part is to get real close to the A380, seeing it real close up and literally going under the wings of the moving plane.

Spent almost the day there and had a real "good" tan :D

Late night, meet up with Jisheng, Wiechoon, Weijie and Shumin; headed to AMK Hub to catch a movie. Watched the movie "Jumper". Its just a so-so movie. Storyline no that good. The only nice part where it show scenic shot of various cities, where the jumpers jump :D I also wanna be a jumper too :D But to be a real life jumper means i need to have lots of $$$$$ :D After movie, headed to Thomson Area to have prata. Long time never had prata le, shiok shiok :) Tired... time to go zzzZZ.

Had been a very very sleepy and tiring long week.
Monday - Thursday had been rushing out assignment. Tough life.... only managed to squeeze out 4hrs of sleep per day. I hate assignment, but got no choice other than to do it. Haizzz....... Eventually had it completed at last. A small relief......

Friday.... the smell of weekend is coming closer....
And yes... managed to go down and collect my "Healed' Atom.
Cost me $139.50 to change the LCD screen :X Should be glad that the costing is less than what i had expected :) Shall now take real good care of it ;)




After getting the phone headed off for the "Brotherhood Reunion Dinner" and also Charles birthday celebration....
